Integrated Standby Instrument System (ISIS)

Integrated Standby Instrument System (ISIS) is included in cockpits to serve as backup in case of failures in an all glass cockpit instrument system, and thus is designed to operate as reliably and independently as possible from the aircraft’s main instrument system, with embedded sensors. ISIS is a rugged AM LCD based display unit housed in a 3ATI case, mounted in front of the pilot on the main instruments panel of the Helicopter/ Aircraft cockpit. The unit has built-in M EMS and pressure sensors to compute and display Attitude, Altitude and Airspeed in a Graphical format to the pilot.

The Smart Multi-Function Display (S M FD-54)

The Smart Multi-Function Display (S M FD-54) Smart Display System Architecture consists of Smart Multi-Function Display Unit, Signal Interfacing & Processing Unit and A/C sensors. The Smart Multi-Function Display (S M FD-54) Unit is a rugged standalone, programmable, processing and displaying unit with a color AM LCD Display Unit capable of displaying the data/signals received from signal interfacing & processing unit (SIP U) in a graphical format.

The RADIO MAGNETIC INDICATOR [RMI)

The RADIO MAGNETIC INDICATOR [RMI) is used on Cheetah/ Chetak helicopters to provide the Heading and VOR bearing, by interfacing with Gyro Compass for AHRS) and VOR. The electrical interfaces are ARINC-429 and Discrete I/Os. The unit avoids interfaces like Synchro or Resolver and thereby provides easy wiring, scalability and ease of maintenance. It is equipped with a 3-ATI AM LCD display with LED back-light.

RADIO ALTIMETER DISPLAY UNIT (RAMDU)

RADIO ALTIMETER DISPLAY UNIT (RAMDU) is basically a MIL qualified system with ANALOG, ARINC429 and RS422 Interface. The RAMDU Analog cum Digital indicator developed by DI LABS, Bangalore. It displays the Altitude on the indicator with needle & dial image or as digital numeric form through pin programming selection. Also the RAMDU provides necessary Man Machine Interface to pilot like provision of Self-test, DH setting, Brightness adjustment, Day/Night selection, On/Off switch.

Avionics & Military HMI Control Solutions

The NVIS-COMPATIBLE FRONT PANEL (NCFP)

The NVIS-COMPATIBLE FRONT PANEL (NCFP) panel forms a part of the Gunner Pilot Control Unit. It is fully compatible to Green-A NVIS Gen-Ill as per MIL-STD-3009, Type-I, Class-B standard and offers DAY/ NIGHT and N VG modes of operation. It has independent controls for push-button indicators and panel illumination. It offers man-machine interfaces like Discrete Inputs, de-bounced Discrete Outputs and Analog Inputs to select AFC functions and brightness.

IFF (Identification of Friend or Foe)

IFF (Identification of Friend or Foe) Control Unit is basically a MIL qualified system with MIL-1553 Connectivity. The Unit has various toggle switches, Rotary selector switch, Push button switches, Self test switch, LED Indicators and Alphanumeric display for Man Machine Interface (M M I). The Design is built around 16 Bit AR M based IVIicrocontroller. The unit has 1553B interface using DDC chip which will be configured as BC (Bus controller).

The Versa Module Europa (VME)

The Versa Module Europa (VME) based Mass Memory Card is designed for use as Mass Storage Card residing on a VME64x Chassis. The Design incorporates VME slave interface and provide interface to standard Compact Flash Devices adopting PCMCIA compliant standard. The card with its rugged conduction cooled construction and usage of extended temperature version components is ideally suited for use on an Onboard / Airworthy System. The card incorporates 5 temperature sensors to monitor temperature status of the card.

Control Display Unit (CDU)

Control Display Unit (CDU) is basically a MIL qualified system with ARINC-429 Connectivity. The Unit has various interfaces such as Spring loaded toggle switches, Special function Custom made Rotary selector switch, 4 Position Joystick, locking actuator switch, LED Indicators and 8 digit Alphanumeric display for Man Machine Interface (M MI). The Design is built around 16 Bit ARM based Microcontroller.

Central Warning Panel (CWP)

Central Warning Panel (CWP) is a part of Central Warning system (CWS) which gives visual warning and caution indications of malfunction and events in the aircraft systems. When malfunction is sensed in aircraft system the CWS light a caption or captions on the CWP.
