Rajagopal Venkatesh is the Founder and Managing Director at DILABS SYSTEMS PVT. LTD. Diploma in Electronics, with about 30 years of Industry experience in Defence & Aerospace Engineering. He has been driving the business of DILABS to establish the organisation as one of the leading Avionics and Military System solutions provider in India. Under his leadership the company has successfully designed and manufactured Indigenous products for some of the prestigious Indian Aircraft & Helicopter Programs like the Light Combat Aircraft (LCA-Tejas), Advanced Light helicopter (ALH), Light Combat helicopter (LCH), Cheetah/Chetak, Intermediate Jet Trainer (HJT-36) etc. Involved in the design and manufacture of Niche products for the Indigenisation program undertaken by the Indian Department of Defence like the Integrated Standby Instrument System, Cockpit Indicators and Control Systems. Datasol Innovative Labs (DILABS), was one of the first Companies of Indian Origin to design and manufacture a Cockpit Display System in 2005. The company has built their core competencies based on this and are today one of the major suppliers to the Indian Aviation industry for Cockpit Electronics. DILABS have delivered close to 1,200 LRU’s which are flying on various Aircrafts like the LCS, ALH, LCH, Cheetah/Chetak, Dornier etc.

With over 25 years in high-visibility leadership roles, Nagaraj has spearheaded product development in Avionics, Enterprise Mobility, Device Management, Embedded Systems, and Networking. Collaborating with industry giants like Xerox US, Thomson US, Oki Data Corporation Japan, Epson, Ricoh Japan, and Inertial Labs US, he has led projects from conception to successful delivery. Nagaraj is results-driven, excelling in growing small to medium businesses and adeptly managing multiple teams for on-time project completion. His expertise spans product strategy, business planning, customer needs analysis, competitor analysis, and end-to-end product development. In Avionics, he boasts extensive experience in designing LRUs for aircraft platforms, understanding airworthiness standards, and integrating Inertial Navigation Systems and Data Link systems for unmanned vehicles. Nagaraj also brings diverse experience in domains like Embedded Systems, Mobility, Enterprise Mobility, and Cloud-based solutions, showcasing strengths in high-end embedded electronics, iOS and Android development, secure printing, and cloud technologies.- Product strategy and business planning – Overall responsibility for product planning and product positioning.
